Dalyellup Cricket Club envisions a proud, strong, and inclusive destination that fosters community, culture, and commitment, providing a platform for all cricket enthusiasts to learn, compete, and excel.

Our Mission

We are dedicated to establishing an inclusive cricket club with a sustainable off-field foundation. Our aim is to retain current players and attract fresh talent to both junior and senior teams. Through a dynamic partnership with Dalyellup College, we've achieved remarkable success in junior grades, contributing to cricket's growth.

Where it all Began

The Dalyellup Beach Cricket Club was formed in the 2004/05 season by founding residents of the Dalyellup Beach Estate – Matthew Robinson and Peter Grygorcewicz. They both expressed a strong yearning for developing a cricket club from the ground up with a major focus on junior development.

This led to the creation and co-ordination of the Dalyellup Milo Have-A-Go Program for five to ten year olds. As the estate had no competition or practice facilities and nothing was planned, the program seemed like the logical start as it required no facilities.

The club nickname adopted became the “Settlers” and motto “Community, Culture, Commitment”. The mission was simple “To be the Premier Club in the Premier Estate”.

On the 20th June 2005, 16 residents attended the Club’s Inaugural Annual General Meeting with the first Dalyellup Beach Cricket Club committee being sworn in.

General committee members: Lachlan O’Connor, Ryan Loverock, Anthony Ward and Peter Bowen.

This lead to the club establishing a strong standing in the community, with the development of the first cricket facilities for the still relatively new estate.

The 2005/06 season saw the introduction of an Under 11’s and 14’s team into the B&DCA Juniors, the Seniors were accepted into the A & B Grades of the B&DCA Seniors and our Milo Program numbers increased to 47 kids.

Over the years the club has grown and has fielded thousands of players in juniors and senior competitions.

A Fresh Approach

In 2022, Dalyellup Cricket Club began a new chapter under the leadership of President Rod Jones and the elected committee.

Following a review of the club and the development of a three-year strategic plan, the club adopted the name Dalyellup Cricket Club, introduced its orange-and-black colours and incorporated an acknowledgement of First Nations people into its logo.

The club also established its inaugural women’s team, strengthening its commitment to providing welcoming cricket opportunities for men, women and juniors throughout Dalyellup and the wider Bunbury region.

A Destination Club

Dalyellup Cricket Club has grown into a destination club that attracts new and experienced players from across the region.

Our welcoming culture, player pathways, strong junior program and opportunities across multiple senior grades allow players to find a place within the club, whether they are beginning their cricket journey, returning to the game or looking to compete at a higher level.

Success Across the Grades

The club has enjoyed sustained success across senior and junior cricket, including multiple grand final appearances and premierships.

Recent senior achievements include:

Back-to-back BDCA Men’s 1st Grade premierships in 2024/25 and 2025/26
BDCA Men’s 4th Grade premierships in 2023/24 and 2025/26
Multiple T20 titles across different grades
Multiple finals appearances throughout the senior grades

Success has also continued throughout the junior program, with Dalyellup teams winning multiple junior premierships and providing young players with a pathway into senior cricket.

Developing Representative Players

Several players who have represented Dalyellup Cricket Club have received individual BDCA awards and been selected to represent association and state teams.

These achievements reflect the dedication of our players and the contribution of the coaches, volunteers, families and teammates who support their development.

Strong Foundations Off the Field

The club’s strategic planning has also produced strong results away from the playing field.

Dalyellup Cricket Club has developed valuable long-term partnerships with sponsors, strengthened its volunteer and committee structures and continued building a sustainable foundation for future growth.

These partnerships and the commitment of our members have helped create exciting opportunities for the club both on and off the field.

Building Connections Beyond Cricket

Dalyellup Cricket Club is about more than results. Training, match days, social events and volunteering bring together players, families and supporters from Dalyellup and communities throughout the Bunbury region.

These shared experiences create friendships, strengthen community connections and provide members with a genuine sense of belonging.

Community, Culture and Commitment remain the foundations of Dalyellup Cricket Club.

We are proud to offer senior men’s and women’s cricket, junior cricket and Cricket Blast in an inclusive and supportive environment. New and returning players, families, coaches, volunteers, supporters and sponsors are always welcome.

Where We Play & Train

Training

All Senior and Junior training is held at the Dalyellup Cricket Club nets. Access is off Dalyellup Blvd.

Seniors train Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from 5pm.For details on trainings please contact the club, click here.

Home Games

Our home games are hosted at one of three grounds, all located within close proximity. We have a turf wicket at Dalyellup College, and two hard decks at the adjacent grounds - these are referred to as Ocean Forrest East and West.

Club Rooms

The Dalyellup Cricket Club shares our club rooms with other sports and is accessed via Wake Drive. The club rooms are open after every Thursday night trainings for team selections and after most games during the cricket season.

Facilities include, change rooms, bar and uniforms.
